Who는 내가 말한 사람이 누구인지 상세하게 설명하기 위해서 씁니다.
일단 사람을 이야기 했다면, 그 사람이 어떤 사람인지 설명 할때 who라고 말하고, 설명하면 됩니다.
아래 예제입니다.
- 도둑은 물건을 훔치는 사람이야
- The thief is a person who steals things.
- 너 피아노 칠 줄 아는 사람 아니?
- Do you know anybody who can play the piano?
- 전화한 남자는 그의 이름을 알려 주지 않았어
- The man who called didn't give his name.
- 그 사무실에 일하는 사람들은 매우 친절해
- The people who are working in the office are very friendly
That은 사물 또는 사람에게 쓴다
- 비행기는 날아 다니는 기계야
- An Airplain is a machine that flies
- 에이미는 100년 된 집에서 살아
- Ame lives in the house that is 100 years old.
- 그 사무실에서 일하는 사람들은 매우 친절해
- The people that are working in the office is very friendly.
Which는 사물에게 쓴다
- 비행기는 날아 다니는 기계야
- An Airplaine is a machine which files
- 에이미는 100년 된 집에서 살아
- Ame lives in the house which is 100 years old.
- 너 파티에서 노래 불렀던 여자 알아?
- Do you know the women who sang at the party?
관계 대명사 that/who/which가 목적어로 쓰였을 땐 생략 가능 (별로 안중요)
- 그가 들고 있는 가방은 매우 무거워
- The bag he is carring is very heavy.
- 너 킴이 찍은 사진 봤어?
- Did you see the picture Kim took?
- 니가 원하는 책 찾았어?
- Did you find the book that you wanted?
- 우리가 만난 사람들은 매우 친절했어
- The people that we met were very friendly.
- 내가 한말은 사실이야.
- Everthing that I said was true.
- 우리가 본 영화는 아주 좋았어
- The movie that we saw was very good.
- 우리가 머물렀던 호텔은 역 근처에 있어
- The hotel where we stayed was near the station
- 나는 6개국어를 할 줄 아는 여자를 만났어
- I met a woman who can speak six languages
